Activity Tracking - Dynamics GP

Activity Tracking provides basic logging info on GP security events. This is not a tool that will monitor a user's work quantity or efficiency. The Activity Tracking tool allows you to monitor/track specific activities, users and/or companies. It will provide data on successful/unsuccessful user log in, when a user logs off and when a window is opened. Important from a security and audit standpoint, the tool tracks when a user creates, modifies and/or deletes a transaction or master record.

SOP VST Trigger

Hi All,

I am trying to enable the email button in SOP after the document has loaded automatically based on some custom logic and I am able to do so on save and various other triggers but not on load.

What should I use to trigger it, I have tried on Display_Existing but GP seems to disable the button after the fact.

How do I multiply a number in SQL?

How do I multiple a value in sql and replace a number? The decimal places on a field are incorrect so I need them moved two places. So I assume I need to multiply it by 1000 how do I do that with code please?

Segment ID

I would like write a query to pull all Segment numbers and description where segment ID is equal= 1 for all GP companies. I believe the table is GL40200 if am not mistaking. I would to get with writing the query. Thanks

GP10 synchronized with PrimiunSoft

Greetings, DynDeveloper.com team. I am new in both subcricion your website and in progranmacion. Right now I face the challenge of developing an interface that allows online Transfer information from a local point of sale application called PrimiunSoft to GP10.0 and viseversa towards GP .. I send sales information (bills only and credit notes). And in both directions I have synchronized inventory the warehouses ..

Each store has a warehouse assigned gp and also will have a warehouse equivalent PrimiunSoft. Both warehouses should reflect the same, so when I make changes to the warehouses in GP, which usually will be income of merchandise, this is synchronized with PrimiunSoft and when movements sales the warehouse in PrimiunSoft affected this update should be reflected in the GP warehouse corresponding to the store that makes transac.

Can't call web service methods from Windows 2008 Server, 32-bit

Only on 2008 Server, 32 bit, can create proxy class, but when call:

companyList = wsDynamicsGP.GetCompanyList(companyCriteria, context);

Get error:

Type 'System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.DynamicsOnlineConfiguration[]]' cannot be serialized. Consider marking it with the DataContractAttribute attribute, and marking all of its members you want serialized with the DataMemberAttribute attribute. If the type is a collection, consider marking it with the CollectionDataContractAttribute. See the Microsoft .NET Framework documentation for other supported types.

Web services RUNS fine in this environment and can be used by other clients machines.

Windows 2008 Server 64 bit is fine...

Windows 7 32 bit is fine...
