As a SQL developer, I import data into SQL all the time. This article is aimed at the accounting user that wants to be able to do it themselves. You'll need access to SQL, but this is a quicker alternative to calling the developer each time.

Hello, when I enter an inventory adjustment transaction, I can save it without any issues, but when I post it, I get the following error:

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'DECPLACS', table 'CTH.dbo.AAG20001'; column does not allow nulls. UPDATE fails.

The transaction does not have analytical accounting.

Greetings - In Smart Connect -

I need to take a Date from a SQL Table, and I need to calculate a Batch ID using the data in the table.

Sql Table is formatted as such: yyyy-mm-dd.

My formula is here:

Here's my result:

I obviously need to do some kind of formatting as part of the calculated smart connect formula?

I'm confused why I get the year (25) and the day (28) correct but not the month (07).

Thanks in advance. I need the result to be: AGCCREDS072825

Seems like SQL 101 - I'm trying to query RM00101 (Customer Master) to return all my CustomerIDs that end with xxxx_1

I don't understand why this query doesn't work? The use of '%_1%' - returns all Customer IDs that contain a '1'. It's like SQL ignores the _ .

Hello All,

Is anyone familiar with JobBoss and if there is anyway to integrate it with Dynamics GP?

Thanks

Brett
